ChamberWest ambassadors helped cut the ribbon at Siragusa’s, at 4100 S. Redwood Road.
The chamber had a wonderful 2011, with a record number of businesses joining the chamber, a record number of businesses renewing their membership and a record number of ribbon cuttings. Business owners seem to be generally optimistic about where the economy is heading.
As I visit businesses around Taylorsville and Kearns, I find that many they are seeing some growth with a few exceptions. Attending the Economic Review meeting earlier in the month with Gov. Herbert, all the statistics are showing some upwards trends. These in turn help keep the money flowing into the economy. These are all good things.
ChamberWest, and our new sister chamber, the East Valley Chamber of Commerce representing Millcreek Township, continue to provide exceptional opportunities for businesses to network where their business takes them throughout West Valley City, Taylorsville, Kearns and now Millcreek.
