Annual Holiday Festival a fun night for all in Kearns

The tenth annual Holiday Festival at the Utah Olympic Oval proved to be a fun-filled night for the more than 2,600 Kearns residents who attended the celebration on Dec. 3.
Tina Esparza, Marketing & Events Manager at the Oval, 5662 Cougar Lane, said although not as many people attended this year as in years past, the turnout was still “amazing,” and the evening went well.
Residents enjoyed everything from bounce houses and a hay ride to ice skating and a figure skating show put on by the Oval Figure Skating Club. Esparza said the highlight of the evening was when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived.
“[Santa and Mrs. Claus] coming in on the Zamboni—the kids loved it,” she said. “The [Holiday Festival] is a family tradition. People look forward to it every year, and this year [was] just as much fun.”
