'Little Shop of Horrors' opening in South Jordan

The South Jordan Community Theater will perform "Little Shop of Horrors" this Halloween season. The play opens Oct. 15 and closes Nov. 1 (see dates below).

Stomp your feet and clap your hands to this rib-tickling, doo-wop rock, comedic thriller. The show stars Kevin Quaderer as Seymour, Jen Wilhite as Audrey, and Cassie Jackman as the voice of Audrey 2. The production will run Oct. 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30 and Nov. 1.

SJCT is also hosting a fundraising Costume Ball on Oct. 8 form 6 to 11 p.m. at Noah's in South Jordan. Featured is a gourmet dinner buffet, dancing, entertainment, and both live and silent auctions.

On Oct. 30, the acting company will be having a Trunk or Treat for children from 5:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the show. Patrons wearing a costume that evening will get a dollar off their ticket price. All performances start at 7 p.m. at the South Jordan Community Center (10775 Redwood Road).

Ticket information is available from www.sjtheatre.org. Cast members will also perform at the Macy's in South Towne Mall on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
