Taylorsville youth a finalist in state pageant
Jazayia Reondra Marie Rauser, 12, of Taylorsville, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Utah Pageant, to be held June 21-22 at the Salt Lake Sheraton Hotel. The National American Miss Pageants are held for girls ages 4-18, and have five different age divisions. Jazayia will be participating in the Pre-Teen age division.
The Bennion Elementary student told pageant officials that she loves signing, adding her own details to her clothing, and hanging with friends. She has sponsorships from the school staff, Hair Mechanix, and her family and friends.
The winner of the Utah pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to the National Pageant in California, where she will receive a complimentary tour of Hollywood and two V.I.P tickets to Disneyland.
